A Sample Day of Missions Boot Camp Training

The following is an example of intensive pre-missions training that you may want to adapt to your group and situation. This is an example of what one day could look like. Normally these types of training venues can go for two to four days. They can also be done with multiple teams at once. The overall objective is excellence: giving students ministry tools, focusing on attitudes, preparedness and unity. In order to be a blessing (and not a burden) to the receiving missionaries and countries, it’s advisable to stretch and challenge our teams prior to going. Issues and interpersonal conflicts are normal. However, if we can learn to deal with them before getting on a plane, it will be to everyone’s advantage.
