Prayer for Latin America and the Caribbean

Lord, we pray today for the university ministries that are so desperately needed in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our region is emerging in so many respects and is accepting its leadership role among the nations. Now we believe it is time to not only reach our campuses, but to shake them through your power and through your Spirit!

We thank you, God, for the university ministries that you have already raised up that are making a difference, ministries like Contacto Universitario in Argentina, for the fervor of the students there who have been energized by the revival you have sent to that country and who are looking for ways to take that revival to the nations. Thank you for Dave and Carol and for Gilbert and Virginia, who are so ably working with the students in Argentina.

We look around and see the huge campuses, some with several hundred thousand students in mega-cities such as Mexico City, that are in need of someone to mobilize those who will take your Name to the marketplaces of their countries. We thank you for those who feel in their heart the need to reach those students.

Thank you for those whose hearts are already open to you about reaching the campuses. Give them the tools to use as they prepare to launch, and give them the wisdom to know how to do what you have asked them to do. We need so much to have people who are willing to take the challenge to reach the universities in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala, Ecuador, Trinidad, Jamaica and so many other countries. Please speak to their hearts today, I pray.
