Prayer for Northern Asia

Father,

Thank you for the privilege of being a part of your work in the world. May your Holy Spirit guide our prayers for Northern Asia so we can see your will be done and your Kingdom established there.

We bind the strongholds of atheism, false religions of Daoism, Buddhism, Islam and animistic religions that have roots in Northern Asia. We pray as well against cults and false doctrines that frequently spring up due to lack of instruction in God’s Word. We also bind the god of materialism that has blinded the eyes of many. We ask for an increase in spiritual hunger and for those who hunger for an answer in you. We pray your Word would not return void, but accomplish the purpose for which you sent it.

We pray for rulers and authorities in that land that their hearts would be turned to you and that Christians would find favor in their eyes. We also pray that restrictions that prevent your church from growing and fulfilling your Great Commissions would be lifted. We pray for our brothers and sisters in the true Church in this land that they would be doers of the Word and not hearers only. We pray they would be able to stand in the face of great hardship and persecution. We pray for the vision you have given the Church to send their own missionaries from the East to the West to testify to those who don’t know you.

We pray there would be a witness in each of the many minority groups, many of whom have never heard the gospel even once. We pray for those groups that are 100% unreached and have no scripture in their language. May the children of this area, who are taught that there is no God, who are orphaned, affected by AIDS or some type of disability, will come to know you as their Father.

We ask you to send laborers into this field, to till the soil, plant the seeds and reap the harvest. We ask for doors of opportunity to minister through the areas of education, sports, business, medical, social and humanitarian efforts and any other areas where your kingdom can advance.

We pray for the physical, emotional and spiritual health of these laborers. May they be protected from the schemes of the enemy. Provide wisdom for each situation they encounter. Supply the financial needs of each laborer and provide for their families in every way.

Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. We look forward to hearing the testimonies of what you are doing in that great land.
