God's Goals, Our Goals

Every student goes, every student gives, every student prays! These are God’s goals and that makes them our goals.

Every Student Goes!
It is our vision and calling to mobilize this generation of college students to God’s global mission—reaching the lost.

We are asking every Chi Alpha student to serve on a short-term, cross-cultural missions trip at least once during their collegiate career.

We are also asking every Chi Alpha student to serve at least one year in a cross-cultural mission after graduation or on a strategic overseas study abroad program.

David Grant, long-term missionary to India and Southeast Asia, said, “I don’t know if I was ever called to missions. I just volunteered!”

Call our office and let us assist you in serving a year in a strategic venue to advance God’s global cause. It will be fun and rewarding.

Every Student Gives!
We are asking every student to give sacrificially to God’s global mission. It’s easy to increase our giving. Just give up one indulgence per week, and you will be surprised how much your giving will increase.
We are also asking every Chi Alpha student to prayerfully participate in our new Change for Change campaign.

Every Student Prays!
We are asking every student to pray strategically and deliberately for the nations of the world. Here’s how:
• Learn about the needs of the world through Operation World at http://www.gmi.org/ow/.
• Pray each day for a nation. Once you have taken 5 minutes to investigate it through Operation World you will be able to pray strategically and deliberately.
• Host at least two “World Prayer Meetings” a semester. Identify in advance the nations you will pray for.
• During the meeting allot a spe cific amount of time to pray for each nation. Give a brief list of prayer needs for the country and then cut loose in prayer!
• Sign up today to receive our monthly Expeditions missions devotional.

As the motto from the early student volunteer missions movement said, “We can do this, if we will!”
